Investigation and Counseling
Smith Aquatic Safety Service provides expert assistance in identifying causative factors present in water and boating accidents. These factors, although often quite subtle, have a major effect in producing situations leading to mishaps, injuries and deaths. Dr. Smith has extensive experience in naval science plus rules of the road and federal/state boating laws as well as vessel operation. Also, due to his academic background in educational psychology, Dr. Smith has testified concerning a number of behavioral issues such as reaction time, learning progressions, propriety of signs and warnings, etc.
